PRODUCT REVIEW
Pears are a great source of dietary fiber, and they're also
very high in potassium and other essential minerals. They
have a high concentration of folates, which make up the
Vitamin B complex group. They also contain Vitamin C, These
vitamins are essential for metabolic activity and red blood
cell production.
Pears are delicious fruits that are related to the apple
family of fruits. While there are thousands of varieties of
pears with each differing in size, shape, color, taste and
storage qualities, Bartlett, Anjou and Comice pears are the
most commonly available types in the United States. We do
not know exactly what type of pears are being used in the
juice production, but we assume that it most likely is the
one available here in the United States, as well as Asian
Pears. Pears are known to have been cultivated in West Asia
some three thousand years ago. These have a distinct buttery
and sweet taste. We believe Earth's Best may have used a
combination of several of these organically grown pears on
their juice extraction process.
Although not well-documented in scientific research, pears
are often recommended by healthcare practitioners as a
hypoallergenic fruit that is less likely to produce an
adverse response than other fruits. Particularly in the
introduction of first fruits to infants, pear is often
recommended as a safe way to start.
Like all other Earth's Best products, this pear juice is
also fully organic. It has no genetically engineered
