Here is another alternative to Gerber! We usually gravitate towards organically grown products for obvious reasons. Why not implement this right from childhood? Well, not a bad idea since there are plenty of available products for babies that are organic these days.

Some of the drawbacks may be it is hard to find. For instance you can find them in most whole food stores, like Trader Joe's, Fresh Fields, Wegmans in the east coast and in San Diego area it is available at Whole Foods Market, Henry’s Marketplace, and Jimbo’s.

Earth’s Best Baby Cereals is the winner of the 2003 Gold Medal Taste Award (from the Quality Institute International competition). So, taste wise this is not bad at all, since there is a perception that organic foods don't taste well among some people. On the other hand some moms write that their babies did not like this cereal. Also, this is a good way to introduce solid foods to babies. Start with a single grain cereal and then gradually move on to multi grain cereals and other solid foods.
