    PRODUCT REVIEW

Are your one of those moms who gave birth earlier than the expected due date? Is your baby under weight? Well we know how it is and what kind of worries a mom goes through. Fortunately there are products that are out there which will address this specific issue. What you need for your preemie or under weight baby is, you need them to gain weight. Quickly. Faster than normal so that they can catch up with other normal babies.

EnfaCare LIPIL is a milk-based, formula that has lots of calories than similar brands, or even different product lines from the same brand. Additional calories help weight gain in a faster pace than other normal formulas. The company calls is a 22 calorie formula that is designed to provide high quality nourishment for the growth and development for under weight babies.

This formula has about 1800 calories on 82 Fl Oz volume. Now, that is lots of calories! Moms who are trying to loose weight after childbirth, don't even think about tasting this formula. Assume that it tastes good and feed the baby or ask your husband to try it, if you want to make sure before feeding the child.

So, where do all these calories come from?

Most of these calories come from Fat. Enfamil EnfaCare LIPIL provides 47% of total Calories from fat more than in Enfamil Premature LIPIL but less than in Enfamil LIPIL with Iron. The fat blend in Enfamil EnfaCare LIPIL consists of approximately:
    34% high oleic vegetable oil
    29% soy oil
    20% MCT oil
    14% coconut oil
3% single-cell oil blend rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA)
The ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids is 7.4:1.

The remaining calories come from the following:
Protein provides 11% of total Calories in EnfaCare LIPIL.
Carbohydrate provides 42% of total Calories EnfaCare LIPIL.

Enfacare also has LIPIL, which is known to have DHA and ARA. These are components found on the mother's Breast Milk and help the eye and brain development of baby. Even though all formula companies claim, they have this wonderful thing in their formulas, we believe there is no substitute for Breast Milk in terms of nutrients and quality and antibodies.

Overall, this is an excellent formula that is necessary for the premature baby.
